What's even more weird is some of the girls who cosplay as male character cloud actually look like those male character. Last edited by darkhunter on Mon Apr 11, pm; edited 1 time in total. Right now I am planning a Keiki's cosplay, and, heck, I might not have his loooong wig something in sale , or have such a white skin something easily solved with a little of make-up.
But it's probably because I CAN be similar to him. Therefore, I know how hard cosplay can be, and I respect those who have put a lot of work into it. I would be angry if they'd easily won the contests, but it doesn't happen OT: Today I went to buy the cloth, but It costed Each metre! Joined: 05 Mar Posts: Location: the desert. It is as mentioned above about having fun and showing others your costume that you worked hard on. I think SakeChanBD puts it best. My only problem is I feel that certain people should not wear certain things such as skimpy outfits when they know it doesnt look good on them at all. I know it doesnt happen too often but really.
But just have fun and enjoy cosplaying just make sure not to become a rabid addict. I can't even begin to tell the atrocities i've seen. I have no idea why some people, whom are so entranced by a particular character, would pretty much make a half-hearted attempt to cosplay that character.
Thought i'd spare you the images, especially Man-Faye. Or some Guy tries to pass as Kid Buu with a Dildo on his head. What about that fat guy who cosplays Faye Valentine?
RightStuf - Anime, Manga and More. Atsumi Tanezaki as Sajuna Inui, a second-year high school student. She is also a popular cosplayer who goes by the name of Juju. Hina Yomiya as Shinju Inui, a mid GN 4 Nov 14, 1 comment. Well, they are around as well. These cosplayers are ugly on the inside. Cosplay is not about looking exactly like the character. Cosplay is a celebration of fandom. Cosplay is about fun. There are cosplayers who look almost exactly like a character.
But one thing they have in common is enjoying this awesome hobby where they can dress like their favorite hero, villain, anti-hero or whatever they like.
But just as with any group, there are those who would rather tear down than build up. Those who would rather tell someone they are too fat, too skinny or too ugly. Perhaps this makes them feel better about themselves. Perhaps it gives them a sense of superiority. This is especially true for heroes and female characters. Accordingly, when these characters get live-action adaptations they are portrayed by rather good-looking actors. In the world of cosplay, these characters look equally, if not more, attractive.
However, there are characters, both villains and heroes, male and female, that do not have the traditional good looks we are accustomed to. The beauty most certainly is in the eye of the beholder, however, there are certain standards that more often than not hold true. Besides, these less attractive characters are purposefully drawn in such a way. The villains seem more sinister, scary and crazy, while the heroes usually become the anti-hero type. The artists always have a reason for depicting a character in a certain way and their judgment should be trusted.
So, we took it upon ourselves to find and present and to you 15 completely gross characters that cosplayers made look drop dead gorgeous. However, this adventurous tough-guy has strong will and a desire to do what's right, which has endeared him to his fans.
One way of expressing your admiration for a fictional character is by bringing said character to life through cosplay. And this fan of Hellboy, Gabrielle Louise , did exactly that. Gabby Lou is an Australian cosplayer and visual artist with a passion for anything vintage, which usually shows in her work. Ok, Red Skull is definitely not a pretty sight. Johann became the Red Skull once he put on his custom-made uniform and a gross red skull over his face.
Courtesy of the Fuhrer. Not surprisingly, cosplayers enjoy dressing up as the Red Skull and they usually look rather horrifying. However, this cosplayer managed to make the Red Skull look attractive. Allison cosplayed as the Red Skull at the Chicago Wizard World Comic Con and looked absolutely stunning, while at the same time somewhat scary.
Allison managed to create a lethal combination of beauty and horror. The Joker is probably one of the most commonly cosplayed comic book characters including both heroes and villains.
A great number of Joker cosplays are indeed rather good, if not downright jaw-dropping. While many cosplayers go for the freaky and unhinged version of the Clown Prince of Crime, Kseniya did her own female and less terrifying take on the character. Kseniya, who also goes by Dark Incognito , is a cosplayer from Belarus whose favorite things in the World are cosplay, games, comics and Batman.
Kseniya started cosplaying in , which is when this Joker was created. Kseniya showcased her eye-catching Fem Joker at the Higan festival, a modern youth festival of East Asian culture held in Minsk. And judging by the photos from Higan, Belarus has a lot to offer in terms of cosplay. However, cosplayer Jasmine GG proved that even Venom can look attractive. This amazing cosplayer has also created costumes for characters such as Gamora, The Riddler and Valkyrie.
